Capital for Children is hosting its annual Texas Hold’Em Tournament at the Hotel Monaco, in Washington, DC. on Thursday, November 12, 2015.
I wanted to follow-up on an email invitation that was recently sent out from Capital for Children. Capital for Children is an organization that I am on the board of that supports, both financially and in terms of members’ time, youth development organizations in Washington, D.C., such as Higher Achievement, where I am also on the board.
The annual Texas Hold’Em Tournament at the Hotel Monaco, in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 is a great annual event that supports selective D.C. youth organizations, which have been carefully vetted by Capital for Children, and is a very enjoyable and fun way to network with the local private equity community.
By way of background,
- Texas Hold’Em Tournament is becoming the cornerstone networking event for private equity professionals in the Washington, D.C. Metro area.
- Capital for Children’s members are all leaders in the local private equity community at firms with significant private equity investments or serving as senior level advisors to the community. Capital for Children was created in 2007 to improve the lives of children in the Washington, D.C. community. To date, Capital for Children has invested over $675,000 in our partner non-profit organizations, as well volunteering countless hours as board members and informal advisors.
